Discharged 19th March 1919.”\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRecords show that Laurence (or Lawrence) Hobson was born on 1st March 1893. He enlisted on 21st July 1915 aged 22. He served with the Royal Marine Light Infantry Regiment: Plymouth Division. His Number was 958. He had not been married long before enlisting and had a baby daughter named May.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLaurence was taken prisoner in April 1917 and was discharged at the end of the war. After the war he had three more children but sadly died in 1924 aged just 31. His wife Eliza Ellen was aged 29 and was left to raise he four children alone. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCondition is good, commensurate with age.
