A handsome antique late 16th to early 17th century iron lock, circa 1558-1603.
The lock is of a good size, with all the delightful wear and patina you would want from a period piece. Excellent workmanship throughout with fine engravings to the back.
Self-standing and displays beautifully.
Condition is good, commensurate with age and use.
