This early 20th century anatomical teaching model depicts a near term foetal skull, crafted from an aged resin plastic that mimics the texture of preserved bone. The model features prominently moulded cranial sutures and a distinct, diamond shaped anterior fontanelle, illustrating the separate skull plates of an infant. Fine, radiating striations cross the frontal and parietal plates to show biological ossification patterns. It has small wires embedded inside the orbital cavity.
Condition is good, commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound.
