A superb albeit slightly disturbing antique late 15th century stone carving of a hag/witch/ghost like entity on a later wooden base.
Its eyes barely emerge from the surface with a hollowed mouth caught mid breath or mid whisper. The form seems to shift depending on how you look at it, somewhere between human and something more occult like.
It displays magnificently and is a wonderful addition to a cabinet of curiosities.
Condition is good, commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound.
