It Shows Wonderful Overall Surface Patina And It Certainly Resembles A Beastie Of Some Sort, Albeit The Side Of the Head Is Now Deteriorated.
It Came In A Collection Of Other Medieval Carvings And Is Believed To Have Originated From The South Of England.
Condition is as explained above. Structurally sound. Some age related deterioration. Appears to have been previously treated and waxed.
