A Curious Antique Early 20th Century Leather Magician’s Magic Card Trick.
A street or parlour magician would have used this prop for "The Vanishing King" or a prediction matrix. The magician would display the wallet, pointing out the King of Hearts safely locked behind the glass. The magician would fold all four borders over the glass centre, closing the wallet completely. While closed, the magician would deftly rotate the wallet or push the hinges through to the opposite side. The flaps would open again to show a completely different card framed in the empty window.

A lovely survivor.
Condition is decent, some of the creases are quite fragile and well worn. Some damage as photographed. Good vibrant colours remain.
